I want to take this opportunity to clarify a certain issue... There is this period of time where i dis-recommended a particular professor to a few people for FYP due to my crappy IA experiences with him few months ago... But after today's final presentation with prof... i wish to take back my words and correct my initial impression of him... To all those whom i dis-recommended... FASTER GO SNATCH HIS FYP PROJECTS WHILE STOCKS LAST!!! haha..
Now to elaborate more about this twist of fate saga...
Before the presentation... i was still very nervous and afraid that he will screw/scrutinize/guai lan me the same way he did few months ago... I entered his office with a 死就死吧 mentality...
Throughout the presentation... it was quite an interactive session...
After the presentation... he kept saying very good very good... he was very happy with it... he saw that i put in efforts and had a positive attitude compared to our very first meeting... then proceeded to tell me some 'philosophies' about how important attitude is... and related how he saw some FYP students with the bo chap attitude... then commented that if the students don't even care... why should he care??... haha... Perhaps, during the first meeting.. i displayed signs of smoking him, unpreparedness and poor attitude???... Did i?? Hmmmm...
Anyway... prof also mentioned that he generally won't be too hard to students... and that he will grant us at least a B+ grade... even for the IA student whom their supervisor gave a lousy grade, prof will try to adjust it higher.. O_O
From this whole hooo haaa.. my point is... to secure a good FYP grade under him is actually very simple...
1. Show good attitude!
2. Show good effort!
3. Show good preparation!
And you are all set and ready to own...
Disclaimer: Prof's name is not disclosed due to privacy issue.
PS: After the presentation, i am extremely happy till i treated my colleague to lunch @ sakae which amounted to almost 50 over bucks.. haha. darn happy lahh.. what a good day to end the week...
PSS: I am so glad i managed to redeem myself through the presentation but then again.. until i physically see that i had achieved at least a B+ grade.. i will still continue to have some reservations towards him..
